The Complete One

Everything you do in life is to feel complete.

As long as you are a child I don't think there was any problem you are always smiling, playful and you cry just because you did not know how to express hunger or pain and immediately mother would address it within no time.

You grow up and the child within you is gone and the mind takes over and then education starts, you start choosing the education which you think will make you feel complete.

Then education gets over you think  the Job will make you feel complete.

Then enter the institution of marriage and you think Marriage will make you feel complete.

Then have children and you think Children will make you feel complete.

Then work hard on the career path and you think Career will make you feel complete.

No matter what you do the feeling of completeness never seems to be coming......

Your quest for completeness takes you through many choices but none of them actually give the feeling of permanent completeness.

and then You come across Swami you have his Darshan hear his discourses and fall in love with him

and then you feel Complete......

True Devotion is completeness

True Love is completeness

I pray to the Complete one that I stay in the state of completeness continuously until the last moment and merge in the complete.

Happiness

True happiness is unconditional. Problem starts when we attach a condition to it. "If it happens I am happy" or "If I possess it I will be happy" or the most common unsaid statement "If he/she behaves this way I am happy". All the above statements are examples of adding conditions to the state of being happy.
How do we remove these conditions or rather taking a step back in questioning, Is happiness a conditional thing ? It has been explained in many ways by all spiritual gurus that a child starting from his infancy to a certain age is always happy. That is the only thing he knows. The child cries not out of sadness but just to signal to his mother of discomfort or hunger. Infant children are often seen smiling in their sleep or even when they are awake at the slightest gesture of an adult.

So what happens to that happiness when we grow. Does it cease to exist or has it been completely utilized ? No It just became conditional. When a child's mind starts evolving and he starts creating a list of likes and dislikes that is when Happiness slowly starts taking a backstage.

So stop creating conditions to be happy.......Just be Happy

Religion - Devotion

Religion plays a major role in our lives. We are taught to be religious, we are told which religion do we belong and then begins, the things to follow and not follow, things to do and things not to do etc. There is a underlying urge to belong to something in all of us and religion fills the gap up to a great extent. But somewhere in the process of belonging to something, we lose the essence of it and it becomes the very basis of division and destruction. We identify ourselves so deeply that we forget the very fundamentals and deviate from the purpose to such an extent that the origin is completely forgotten.

Devotion is one of the key components which are taught in religion. A follower is taught to pray regularly so that the habit actually develops devotion in him. In order to attain the devotional state of mind you are given an object of devotion on which you need to focus by closing your eyes and trying to drive the activity of the mind on that object. The object of devotion I am talking about is every icon of religion on this planet who have ever existed on this planet and created prophecies of life or who exist today and continue to inspire people to lead happy and peaceful lives.

Devotion is the nexus amongst all religions in the world. I might visit a temple, a mosque or a church but when I close my eyes and invoke devotion within, the place of worship or the object of devotion loses significance because the key is the presence of devotion in me at that point in time. Love and devotion are two words used synonymously so the same can be said about love. The statement "You are in Love" actually emphasizes that the person has invoked love in him. It is that invocation which gives joy and happiness. Reciprocation is irrelevant  if one truly understands the state of being in love or devotion. So just enjoy the state of being in "Devotion" or "Love".........
